Does YI lend equipment to participants? Where can I purchase appropriate clothing and equipment if needed?

We do not have any personal equipment or clothing we can provide, so please follow the required equipment list. 

A good way to find out where you can buy any clothing or equipment is through your local yellow pages. Check with sporting goods, surplus and outdoor specialty stores to find any items you need such backpacks and sleeping bags, wool or polypropylene/polar fleece hats, clothing layers, water bottles, and hiking shoes.
