What happens during rain or snow?
The Yosemite Institute is an outdoor program, and you will be discovering the park in snowy and rainy conditions. Be prepared with raingear, layers of clothes that will keep you dry and warm even when they're wet, and a wool or fleece cap. That way you can enjoy the magic of silent snow falling, hear the chorus of tree frogs and see hundreds of waterfalls coming to life in a rainstorm. If enough snow has fallen, you might learn how to use cross-country skis or snowshoes in order to see how plants and animals adapt to winter conditions.
