What are some of the activities we might be participating in while out in the field?
With your instructor and your teaching group you might explore the habitats of different plants and wildlife, learn about the cultural history of early park pioneers and Miwok Indians, hike to the tops of waterfalls, discover the gigantic monoliths and glacial features, sketch and write in your journal, participate in a service project that benefits the park's resources, and work with your classmates to solve group challenges. Activities each day vary with the individual needs of the students, the teaching strength of the instructor, and the weather, so different teaching groups may experience different destinations and different lessons.
